establishment is situated 1.5km south of Coffee Bay
along a spectacular section of the South Africa's
Wild Coast. Coffee Bay is accessible with normal
sedan vehicles and is on the BAZ Bus route. 4x4 is
not required to get to Coffee Bay or White Clay.
Access to Coffee Bay is on a good tarred road, with
only the last 1.5km being dirt road The
accommodation establishment is well maintained,
clean and situated perfectly for hiking along the
coast or just relaxing and enjoying the views.

The Coffee Bay area is famous
for its excellent rock and surf fishing, hiking and
surfing or just relaxing. The views up and down the
coast are magnificent, with beautiful hiking trails
to Umtata Mouth and Hole in the Wall The deep sea
fishing is also very good with a huge variety of
bottom fish and game fish being caught all year
round. Other good fishing areas include Mbolompo
Point, Umtata River Mouth, Hole in the Wall and
Mdumbi.
Surfing is also good in the area with famous surfing breaks such Mdumbi Point and Coffee Bay. Be aware that there are no shark nets or lifeguards at Coffee Bay or Mdumbi and the area is known to have a healthy shark population.
