St Lucia SA Camping - Sugarloaf Campsite

At the Sugarloaf Camping site at St Lucia, camping sites are situated in the dune forest close to the St Lucia Estuary. The Sugarloaf camping site has clean ablution facilities and a swimming pool and is situated less than a kilometer from the St Lucia beach. The Sugarloaf Camping site has electricity and water points.

St Lucia  Camping - Eden Park Campsite

Eden Park is a grassy camping site set amongst giant sub-tropical trees and is home to duiker, kudu and bushbuck. The campsite has clean ablution facilities and is situated less than a kilometer from the town of St Lucia. The Sugarloaf Camping site has electricity and water points.

 

St Lucia Camping - Iphiva Campsite

The Iphiva Camping site at St Lucia is situated 5km from town, close to the swimming beach. The camping site is part of the St Lucia game park and is regularly visited by animals such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Red Duiker and Kudu. This camping site has no power points and the ablution facilities need attention, but being out in the bush makes up for that.

The Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is close enough for a day trip. In all of the above mentioned parks, one can do safaris and tours and see some of Africa's best game parks, all while camping at St Lucia.

Vervet monkeys and Samango Monkeys are common in the St Lucia campsites, so always ensure that all food is secured. Your campsite might also be visited by Bushbuck, mongooses and a variety of birds.
